Born Omari Ismael Grand berry, Omarion sprang to international fame as the lead singer of boy band B2K. In 2005 he released his first solo album, O. The title track helped propel the album to the top of the Billboard chart and earned Omarion his first gold record. Keeping the momentum high, Omarion released his second album, 21, in 2006. It included the massive hit ‘Ice Box’, which was the result of a talent-charged collaboration with Timbaland. 2014 was a banner year for Omarion: he released the platinum hit ‘Post to Be’, (featuring Jhené Aiko and Chris Brown) which is his hottest seller to date. His internationally-acclaimed fourth album was also released via Maybach Music/Atlantic Records. It dominated charts everywhere and confirmed that Omarion may have become famous as the B2K frontman, but he was perfectly capable of holding his position under his own steam. Omarion’s fifth offering, Reasons, was inspired by the birth of his son. Backed by a production ‘dream team’ consisting of James Fauntleroy, Knxledge, Nic Nac, and Stereotypes, he put together an album that features the runaway hit ‘I’m Up’ (featuring Kid Ink and French Montana). Maintaining his reputation as an on-stage powerhouse, Omarion rounded out 2015 by joining the One Hell of a Nite Tour with Chris Brown and other industry luminaries, and making highly publicized appearances at the 2015 BET awards, Summer Jam, and the Essence Music Festival. Showcase PR is the Omarion booking agency for these and other live shows.
